Card playing Legislator revealed

The lady playing solitaire while her own mayor droned on at the Capitol last night was none other than Norwalk’s Peggy Reeves. I have no idea what she’s paid, but it’s too much.

    Dude -
Aren’t you the little kettle calling the pot black.
You do the same frigging thing, for Pete’s Sake. Only worse. You get a listing, and you are supposed to show it, respectfully. And pay attention. Just like these folks.
But is that what you do? NOOOOO!!!!
You throw some keggers when the owners are in the Hamptons for a weekend. Piss in the pool and drink all the beer in the house.
Have a cookout, and make a deposit in the master bathroom toilet. You don’t bother to flush.
Screw around with the bidet, and figure it’s a water fountain.
Empty the kids piggy banks, and then jump up and down on the beds.
Look through all the bedroom drawers, and find the sex toys. You just can’t resist, you little perv. And you don’t even wash them before you put them back. Put on the Lady undies, bra and heels, and prance around like J. Edgar Hoover. I got your number, BUDDY!!
All in all, I would prefer you just played solitaire.
Which house are you having the Labor Day Party at? I will bring the dips!!!
    Your Pal,
    Walt

She’s toast — The Duke’s Audi could beat her in the next election…

    CF,
That’s the minority senate leader, also from Norwalk, Larry Cafero, “droning on” not the mayor of Norwalk, Dick Moccia.

Just setting the record, not that it makes any difference.

Hmm. I’m pretty sure it was Greenwich Time who identified the guy. I wouldn’t know the Mayor of Norwalk if he bored me to death.

Maybe I can get the state of MN to pay me for playing hearts?

Zoom in and you can see most people on the internet. Yes, she is playing Solitaire but so id the guy next to her. Shouldnt they be playing battleship? Much more fun. Anyhow, guy behind is on ESPN.com and others are on the internet as well. Notice how not one person in the picture is looking at the speaker. Now thinking about it, it may be a good thing. I dont know.

Question, “Why do they need laptops during the assembly anyhow?” Nobody is listening. When colleges started letting them in the classroom, students were just on email, internet, etc. What happened to the old fashion sleeping during class? Or even doodling? Kids these days, I tell you.

More info from someone (not me) who knows:

“The person in this photo is Representative Hennessey, a progressive Democrat. The person speaking is our Minority Leader Larry Cafero, one of the most dynamic, exciting speakers of the Chamber.”

Thanks for hosting a great blog.

After reading this piece, I wrote an email to Rep. Reeves, letting her know just how taxpayers feel about paying dimwits to play Solitaire up in Hartford. This was her response:

“No, that was not me. I do not sit in that area. Nor have I ever played solitaire on my computer, in or out of the chambers (don’t know how, actually).”

She responded, personally, within 12 hours, which impressed me. I, for one, will take her word for it. Now I really want to know who the guilty party is, so we can shame that person into an early retirement…

Just saw on the news, the lady is Barbara Lambert, democrat from Milford
