Rock’em, Sock’em Candidates

Take that, you Republican girlie-girl!

I’m so sorry that the Greenwich campaign ends tomorrow just when things are getting so interesting and so much fun. I reported last week that Lin Lavery bitch-slapped Lyvvy Florid for taunting Lin’s friend Frankie Fudcruker and now comes news that one of our candidates (I’m sworn to secrecy as to which one) decked a guy on the Greenwich Train Station platform after he was called a M****** F******* liar, among other things. I invented the story about Lavery – the train story is gospel truth. If we can postpone the election just one more week, we’ll have Uzi fights to write up. Cool.

UPDATE: Greenwich Time has just learned of the story and is running with it so, just so you heard it here first, our battling pugilist was none other than 75-year-old Bill Grad!

  1. Come on, Chris…give us a hint as to who the decker was/is!

If the smackdown had occurred at Valbella’s or Starbucks, I’m sure Scuzie would cover it like a chardonnay-soaked blanket. The Greenwich (not worth the) Time? Who knows.

I can release the name Wednesday, after the election, Cobra, but maybe the GT will report the story before then (I doubt it – they don’t even have Dr. Sex’s sordid tale on their website yet and probably never will. They don’t know squat about selling newspapers).

Oh, I didn’t read to the end of your item. I was going to say that his wife gets my award for best campaigner. And he holds his own for a 75-year-old! If that’s the way he is prepared to deal with tax deadbeats, he’s got my vote!!!

I may have misstated Mr. Grad’s age a teensey bit for drama, Anon, but otherwise, the story’s true.

My cookie keeps getting deleted these days, so I end up more anonymous than usual.

Yeah, he’s not 75, unless he is extreme well preserved. The assaultee was closer to 75.
