Bloomberg this morning: Sternlicht Wagers on Greenwich Rebound by Raising Home Price

Sternlicht’s broker, Jean Ruggiero of William Raveis Real Estate, said in an interview. “Just because people are lowering their price doesn’t mean it’s right, because he’s not a desperate seller.”

The house next door is even larger. This neighborhood is the best kept secret in Greenwich. But you can read all about it in the Oral History of Greenwich series at the Greenwich Library. All houses in this enclave except this one and the one next door are on two or more acres–these two are on slightly more than one acre each.

Chris Can you give us your top 10 houses for sale in Greenwich? How about top 10 price is no object, top 10 great neighborhood houses? Top 10 values? Top 10 best houses that are overpriced? That would be worth reading and I’d love to see these lists updated from time to time. Spend more time on houses and what they are worth!!!

It’s very nice inside, Cobra, and has a great yard. Plus, walk 100 yards and you’re in the only 500 seat marble ampitheatre in Cos Cob.

Sorry to disagree with you, Chris, but as “kidding really” observed, its architecture smacks of New Jersey…badda bin, badda bang. Not my taste, but then again, my taste is probably not mainstream.

Just checked this out – it’s quite sizable, but it’s on a one acre lot. Let’s just say I want to add something, like a bigger kitchen (the one in the photo doesn’t look like much). Have they maxed out the FAR?
