Data available for years is suddenly disappearing from East Anglia’s Central Research Unit. Like, tree ring data. I’ve said all along this stuff was made up by opportunists, profiteers and idiot celebrities – see tag search, “Global Warming Bunkum” – but it’s looking even more sinister than I’d imagined.

Unfortunately, after years of questionable facts and squelched arguments, there is still a tendency among many people to just accept global warming. It’s almost ingrained in some corners. I’ve always had my doubts and even with the email scandals, I can’t say that I’ve got this all figured out even though my doubts are greater than before. The truth is I just don’t have so much confidence in “experts” anymore. But I’m not a climatologist so I guess you just weigh the evidence that you can see and trust and come to your own conclusions. I am disappointed in those people though.
