God bless you, Laddie

17 Hendrie Drive

When Cleveland Duble & Arnold listed this creek neighbor of mine’s house for $7.750 million back when the Arctic still had ice, I didn’t call my stock broker to establish a retirement fund because I doubted it would fetch that much. But it’s been dropping ever since and landed awhile ago at $4.450; yesterday CD&A’s Irish boxing star, Brian, “Broken Nose” Tunney, reported a contract pending on the place. I don’t know what the final sales price will be but a sale’s a sale and everyone along Ole’s Creek is grateful. Go, boyo!

    CF,

Any idea as to the origination of “Hendrie”? There are two (Avenue and Lane) in Riverside, and one (Drive) in OG. Any others?

Was Hendrie some Pilgrim whose bones are interred in First Congo? A wannabe industrialist vying for Binney-like status? Or merely a developer/loudmouth at PTA meetings around the time Riverside Elementary was erected?

Got the skinny on this dude? Curious reader wants to know.

Hmm…assessed at $2.6 (if this is indeed Hendrie Drive). I guess the sales price=assessment rule doesn’t hold in Fountainland?

Or does the tax assessor need to take another look at all those houses on the creek?

You never answered my previous questioning on the status of the docks on the creek and whether they have a death warrant placed upon them?

You never told me the boundaries of ‘the creek’. I look to you for some education but sometimes I’m still left ignorant.
