Rush Limbaugh stricken with apparent heart attack while vacationing in Hawaii. Coincidence that Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi are also vacationing in Hawaii at this very moment? I think not.

I agree, CF, but Obama is too wimped out at this point to have been the cause of this.

Nancy Pelosi is now at the height of her powers: the voodoo queen is holding poor Rush’s heart in the palm of her hand and can squeeze the life out of it at any moment she chooses.

God help him, and God help us all.

Rush probably downed a couple of bottles of those pain killers he was hooked on and then tried to recite the Declaration of Independence or Constitution while jumping on one foot and beating on an illegal alien.

No real surprise, that would give anyone a heart attack.

As pointed out by InstaPundit, the same types who are wishing death on Rush are those who are rther vocal about govt run healthcare. Figures.

More importantly, how close physically does a voodoo priestess have to get to an intended victim to impose a spell? Just wondering given your observation about who else is in Hawaii at this time….

I’m with DB at 9:52 on this one. Although …

I saw Limbaugh six or eight weeks ago on one of the Sunday morning talking heads programs. As I watched him, amazed as always by his ability to impersonate a reasonable human being when he chooses to do so, I saw that he looked a lot thinner and a lot better than usual.

Lap band surgery? Diet pills? Either could lead to heart trouble, as can many other looks-enhancing procedures. Enquiring minds want to know, and I hope the National Enquirer will fill us in soon.

Old School, I’m not much of a Rush fan – just not my cup of tea – but on the occasions I do tune him in I find him funny and not at all the stupid ogre he’s portrayed to be. The rest of right-wing talk radio leaves me cold but Limbaugh is a good listen. In my opinion, of course.

I think Rush is swell. I don’t agree with him all the time, I think sometimes he goes overboard – and sometimes he steps in it (Michael J. Fox, for instance.) But, overall, he is terrifically entertaining and funny, knowledgeable about loads of facts and issues – and a voice for the right when there was none.

For those who mock his addiction – I’m betting you do not have a loved one who has been socked with it. I do. As far as I’m concerned, about the same as laughing as someone who gets cancer… a terrible disease.

Anyway, I hope that Rush is doing great and can continue to enrage lefties for many years to come.

Happy New Year, Christopher and buddies!

Wow – I’m just amazed he has a heart!
