The lonely prairie

With zero real estate news to report this morning I’m off to work on client matters. How dull. I’ll check back in in a few hours to see whether my colleagues were busy over the weekend.

    “The Yankee Institute for Public Policy is formally launching its free Web site, http://www.ctsunlight.org, this week. It offers databases with every state employee’s salary and benefits, every pension benefit recipient, and every vendor payment made by any state department in the 2007 and 2008 fiscal years. The databases are searchable and can be downloaded.

    The Yankee Institute obtained the data through a massive request under the Freedom of Information Act; the majority of the information is not available anywhere else.”
