what does GPD stand for? Is it Gweedos Police Department?

I have a feeling it is not “Gweedos Police Department” because I saw some negros working in the same police department.

In fact, it’s the “Us against them, Chip on our shoulder” police department these days. The Irish and Italian are still there but the ranks are open to all with an antipathy towards Greenwich residents.
And here’s the obligatory under-cutting of that general statement – there are still some great cops working for the town and I’ve never failed to be impressed by any Greenwich cop, even the nasty ones, when they’re responding to human tragedies and accidents. Their human side comes out then, as well as their superb training. It’s only when dealing with petty crimes that many of them adopt an obnoxious, angry attitude.

“While patting down the boy, police found a loaded and concealed semiautomatic .380-caliber handgun.

The suspect’s home on Lockwood Avenue was also searched after police received parental permission, police said.”

Charming. If the kid’s old enuf to carry a handgun, publish his name already. Where’s Lockwood Avenue anyway?

    Stamford.

  6. The kid probably left his cell phone at the house.
