Charlie Crist to run as an independent. Worked for Liberman, once, but I don’t see it happening again. But these guys do love their offices!

All I know is, if I were tired of what the Democrats have been selling, I’d be quite unhappy with Crist’s move – even if I preferred Crist to Rubio. It is not a secret to anyone that having two candidates essentially on the same side of the aisle most of the time means that the other side will get the nod.
IMHO, the guy who seems unable to get his side’s support should gracefully bow out, support the other guy – and hope for bigger and better things down the road. “Team player” and all that. Seems like all Crist will accomplish by this is losing himself, Rubio perhaps also losing – and the kind of policies Crist purportedly not wanting having greater odds of being enacted. Yuck.
