Women most beautiful at 31? It’s all relative, obviously. At 18, I wasn’t exactly drooling over women in their 40s (Sophia Loren being the single exception). I’ll be 57 in two weeks, and I can tell you, 46 can look absolutely ravishing.

I felt the most beautiful post-50. Now 62, the little crows feet and a few strands of gray are like badges of honor, proof I made it through the child-raising years. I have to say, being happily married for eons has alot to do with how pretty I feel. Unhappiness shows, on both men and women, but women especially.
I’d be happy to chip in for a present for your 57th but I think it’s against the law to deliver you a 46 year old woman – unless she’s the blow-up version.
Maybe you have that already?!
C’mon, Chris– no fair talking about the most beautiful woman you’ve seen and not showing us a pic. Dish, already!
Dudester -
So who was this older hottie who put the pup in your tent? The sizzle in your whizzle? The juice in your goose?
Could it be Ms. McBeal? I know she gets you all hot and bothered, but is she 46? Don’t know.
Steph is only 41, that minx, and she is mine, so back of Dude. How old is Fuddrucker? You stare at him all day, as you both pick lint out of your belly button, so maybe you are starting to think he is cute?
Can I get the initials?
And you still take Sophia over Maureen? You loser.
Your Pal,
Walt
My wife is 46 and you met her in the last 12 months. I’m gonna have to keep my eye on you…….
Shoe, no way is your wife 46! Or if she is, I’ve been house hunting with some young honey of yours, you dog. But in truth and in fact, I was referring to (another) beautiful woman, from Holland. Your wife is far too intelligent to waste time on me – but the lady from Holland hasn’t spent enough time with me to know me, so maybe there’s hope.
I don’t want to embarrass a woman who has far better men on her mind than me, but I met her in Italy last fall, was totally enchanted and I believe I posted her picture back in October. So there’s nothing going on here, darn it, I’m just saying that women in their 40s can be, and are, absolutely beautiful ( it helps when they’re incredibly talented and smart, too – if I had even one of those, I could probably overcome my bad looks and get on with things. Oh well.)
If it’s Maud Nelissen you are pining away for, you have fabulous taste. We heard her play in Finland and not only is she talented, but yes, strikingly beautiful. You’ve got so much going for yourself, so stand up tall, stop the self-deprecating humor, and give her a call….
Small world, EOS.
We saw her at the Midnight Sun Film Festival, one of the most fun vacations we have ever taken. Perfect destination for travel enthusiasts/film junkies. Bring blinders if you want any sleep as this is during the season of 24/7 light. From the website:
The Midnight Sun Film Festival was founded in 1986 by Finnish filmmakers, e.g. the Kaurismäki brothers, and the Municipality of Sodankylä. The village of Sodankylä is located in the heart of Finnish Lapland, some 120 kilometers above the Arctic Circle, where the sun doesn´t set at all in the summertime. The Lappish nature and the nightless night provide the Midnight Sun Film Festival a setting no other festival can compete !
Down there, scurvy dawg…
EOS, I had hoped to met her again at that festival but, alas, couldn’t swing it financially – how am I ever going to impress beautiful women if I can’t jet off around the world to join them for three days? Glad you made it, though!
Beautiful women aren’t always impressed by the size of a mans wallet.
I wish we had known you were thinking of going to the festival this year. A few private planes from HPN go there every year with local cinema types and I bet we could have found you one slot in the luggage compartment of someone’s G5. Speak up next time, okay??
EOS – going back to Italy this fall with my Ma. Will you come? I would so love to meet you!
Fall in Italy. Lucky you….and your mom!
We haven’t mapped out any vacations for the rest of 2010. Hanging low, worried about the economy. House projects looming. Property taxes. Grown kids financially more needy now than when they were little. You know the routine.
Just came back from running errands in Katonah. Look at my blog for pix of storm damage. I had NO idea how bad things were.
