Sell your Madoff claim for pennies on the dollar?

There are buyers out there offering 30 cents for each dollar lost. You’d think that Walter Noel would be selling, since he claims that he too was a victim, but I’ll bet he won’t find a buyer.

Nice to know our Attorney General has time on his hands

Blumenthal spent the day trying to get the Giants game on television. I believe it was available on TV here in Greenwich but I’m more of a radio guy, so that’s how I caught it, all without the help of our Attorney General/Senator elect.

Is Steve Cohen going down?

That’s what this article suggests. I’ll reserve judgment – as I’ve said here before, I have friends who worked for him at SAC and they universally despised him as a man, but never claimed he was a crook. Given their animosity towards the guy, you’d think they’d have been glad to add a charge of criminality to their denunciations, but they never did. Of course, Bernie Madoff was held in high respect too, but still -

Makes you wonder why the ol’ crook is snugged down in prison, enjoying three hots and a cot. Someone has cruelly suggested that people send dog leashes to Andy Madoff, but I think they’d be better directed to North Carolina, for Bernie.
