Not related to this article, but I haven’t noticed any coverage of Hank Morris’s conviction and sentencing to 18 months to 4 years of jail for his pay to play kickback activities under Alan Hevesi in NY. The Greenwich Connection is that his own company, Searle & Co. is located in Greenwich and he is now banned from the securities industry in NY and lost his license to practice law. I don’t really care about all of this, since I’m not of that world, but just thought that maybe a story you’d be interested in passed you by.
Apparently, you had to bribe Hank if you wanted to do any work in NY that had anything to do with their pension fund money.

  2. We’re not at New Jersey or Louisiana levels, but it’s bad here in NY. A mobster once remarked to his attorney “I can’t buy every judge in New York. Some of them wouldn’t be for sale.”.

  3. Further to the point, 6 municipal employees in Harrison have been arrested for stealing from the town food pantry and meals on wheels program:

And the mayor of White Plains resigns, no doubt after hearing the Cuomo was about to remove him from office for spousal abuse and other offenses:

Cos Cob is looking better and better.

Hmm, yes, I recall the Democrats being very careful not to use the term “Reagan-omics” back in the 1980′s and onward….oh, wait, no, they DID use the term! (Sorry)
