Something fishy going on at Stamford Superior Court

Now I go home, ja?

Stamford Superior Court Marshall “Bo” Herring caught slapping the flounder in front of female prisoner. A Marshall’s job is a coveted appointment and obviously comes with some great fringe benefits, if you’re into this sort of thing.

    Dude -
I have some questions. Firstly, what did the prisoner look like? Second, she is an adult. Third – she didn’t file a complaint. And she witnessed a murder. Right?
So watching a guy rub one out is more traumatizing than seeing someone killed? Now there is a sexual hang up for you! Why not just close your eyes? Not saying what he did was right, but if I was in jail, and a female guard decided to pleasure herself, I am not quite sure how traumatized I would be. Especially with no TV!

So if he’s found guilty (with video proof I assume) will he keep his pension?

  3. You seem to post the photo of this woman with enough regularity that I’m betting she’s also your screen saver!!!!!

BTW, it’s marshal with one “L”. No biggie, just flaunting my Ivy-educated ass for something other than doing laundry and posting comments.

  4. I post lots of pictures of nearly-nude female fishermen, but this is a new find – notice the flounder.

  5. I hought the Brits added a second L, but what do I know? Very little.

Sounds like a “red herring” to me!

You ever hear of Field Marshal Montgomery? Only one “l” in his title. And I think he was a Brit.

  8. okay – wrong again.What’s new?

In his defense, Herring claimed “It takes two hands to handle a Whopper.”

Just what is a “Judicial Marshal” anyway. The article makes them sound like jail guards, so why not just call them that? How are they hired? Is it a political appointment (“a coveted appointment”), and, if so, who appointed Mo? And what, exactly, does the job of a Connecticut Judicial Marshal entail? What are their salaries, benefits, pensions?

In these trying times when the state seems determined to wring every possible tax dollar from its citizens, inquiring minds want to know what’s up with paying employees like these.

Their puffed-up job title (and this behavior) sounds like they should go the way of the county sheriffs, i.e. be eliminated.

“Slapping the flounder” ? That’s a new one on me and I have handled alot of fish.

I’m so disappointed. Thought I was gonna get some good fishing tips for Lake Minnetonka.

  13. They impose order in the courtroom and escort prisoners from the holding pen. Light duty, pretty good pay and benefits and, as noted, an appointed position, so all you have to do is suck the Sheriff’s dick rather than say, graduate high school.

According to the State payroll database Mr. Herring knocked down a whopping $47K in 2010, I don’t think he is one of the bigger fish we need to worry about, excepting of course for his social skill level. You get what you pay for?
    Best,

Mo has made 46k and 47k a year over the past two years.

“All you have to do is suck the Sheriff’s dick…”

I thought that we had eliminated our corrupt Connecticut county sheriffs’ jobs (and their corrupt dicks as well) years ago. No?

The article you link to says nothing about “slapping a flounder.” You just made this up as a joke to propose a cruel act upon an innocent fish.

  18. I believe that we still have county sheriff’s, the last vestige of our county system, but they may have been eliminated in the past decade.

    Dude -
The appropriate terminology is “Flapping the Flounder”. Not “Spanking the Flounder”. You spank the monkey. Everyone knows that. You load.

    Dude -

    Thanks,
