The Professor opines on the TSA

TSA UPDATE:  Fliers griping over Obama ‘grope hike’.MY own take is kind of harsh:

Glenn Reynolds, a University of Tennessee law professor and TSA critic who blogs at Instapundit.com, slammed the fee as good money after bad — the TSA has been widely criticized for incompetence and abusive searches.

“I’m not against user fees,” Reynolds said. “But this is not a user fee. This is a fee for being used. I don’t think the TSA does any good at all. Every dollar that goes to them is a waste. More dollars is more waste. I think the TSA should be abolished.”

Reynolds, a gun rights advocate, said that with a reported $32 billion total package of proposed airport fees and cuts, “for that kind of money, they could give every frequent flier a gun, which would do more to stop hijackings than the TSA clown show.”

Walt might say that a new $8 federal fee for a grope is a pretty good deal but as for me, I want more for my money than a 6’4″ bully in a rented uniform grabbing my genitals. In fact, I’d rather just keep my money and be left alone.

Needless to say, I agree with Glenn.

I think a lot of people are bickering over the details of TSA groping and missing the bigger picture: not seeing the forest for the trees as they say. The body scanners were ushered in after the false flag attack of the underwear bomber, and just in time for the vote on the renewal of the Patriot Act, and to prove Obama was tough on terrorism. Mr. underwear was on a terrorist (no-fly) watch list, he showed up at the airport at the last minute with no passport, and was personally escorted onto the plane (by the state department?); there are credible witnesses to that. The body scanners were all set and ready to go as the perfect solution to prevent further attacks. Former Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff and George Soros both have vested interests in the body scanners — they profit at your expense. But more than that, this is a program of conditioning, of conditioning you to being treated like cattle for much worse to come, and not just in airports but with VIPER teams on highways and bus stops and train stations, next they’ll probably be groping your children in school (the little perverts); all comming to a theater of operations near you soon. They’ll be no escape. Stop being sheeple and demand an end to it now!

A friend of mine’s 12 year old daughter just flew to Florida the other day. Her mother could not go so she is flying by herself and of course the airline escorts her to her seat and when she is met on the other end by another adult. But this little girl packed her own bag including perfume, hand lotion etc. The people from TSA saw all the “liquids” in her carry on, laughed and pulled her out of the line anyway. They chemical tested her perfume before they let her through.
