Who needs an agent when you can save a commission?

Sooooeee!

I heard on the circuit today that the island (with causeway) at the end of Pilot Rock in Riverside has sold privately for $13-$14 million. I’ve often admired this island and its magnificent view down the Sound, but when I come into the harbor at night I’ve also pitied the owners because the rocks off their place offer the best striped bass fishing in the area – the fish start down on the western side of the harbor at high tide and come this way on the outgoing, usually around an hour past high tide, but they seem to only follow this pattern at night.

So on summer nights there are usually a half-dozen boats anchored just offshore, maybe 25 yards away from the happy homeowners’ bedroom, deck lights on, beer open, boom boxes blaring and fishing for those bass. An agent with local knowledge could have warned the buyers of this phenomenon; I’d be surprised if the sellers mentioned it.

    Dude –
You have to read this post called “Americans Are Being Prepared For Full Spectrum Tyranny “

It explains a lot of the stuff you have been wondering about, like why the GPD needs that new boat the Fed’s “gave” them. Now you know I am not a tin foil hat guy. Although I do believe you really are an alien from outer space, and had something to do with the Kennedy Assassination.

Anyhows, its long, but well worth the read. It also supports the belief of many, including some in Congress, that the real intent of “Fast and Furious” was to help the Administration enact much stricter gun control. Holder must be held accountable.

Its no sure bet an agent would have said anything about the noise…the only sure bet is that they agents would have taken their usual fees and made some phony drama during the initial negotiating process.

Tina Pray’s well coiffed ex looks to buy a new Rolls Royce in today’s paper. Maybe he bought the place. Looks like he did well…

Sounds like hillbilly heaven. As they liked to say in the RoboCop movie, I’ll buy that for a dollar! Right between there and that island just offshore used to be a very popular place to waterski because you get at least a little protection from the waves there.
