Bury it in windmills

Mr. Kennedy, you didn’t build that house!

Kennedy clan denied permission by Kennedy clan to treat Hyannis compound as private playground.

Ted’s widow donated (nice estate tax deduction, no?) the property to the Mary Jo Kopechne Trust after he died and now won’t let Bobby Jr.’s 18-year-old kid put up his 20-year-old girlfriend for a few weeks.

That’s a tragedy, alright, but here’s the real one: the “trust” took $32 million from taxpayers in 2010 and probably more (awaiting rumored – pedophile Harry Reid to file their 2011 tax return) last year. And what, exactly, are we getting for our money?

The $32m is to retain lawyers for all the Kennedy kids who “continue Ted’s legacy.”

    PS to Taylor Swift: RUNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN.

But Marilyn’s been dead 50 years, Jack for 49 and Mary Jo 43, Martha Moxley 37.

The crime spree continues with the likes of Reid and Pelosi serving themselves at the people’s expense. Ron Paul’s audit the Fed bill has passed in the house and is on it’s way to either die in the Senate or be watered down to the point where it’s like looking at a balance sheet where everything meaningful is off-balance-sheet (how off-balance-sheet accounting ever became legal is beyond me — let me guess it must have been congress).

As Charleton Heston as Moses said to Ramesses, “If there is one more plague against Egypt it is by your word…” Let’s publicly audit Harry’s and Nancy’s tax returns; out of there own mouths by their own words, let them be judged; in fact let’s audit all politicians returns for every year that they serve with years out of office being out of bounds unless something is discovered in a serving year audit that would lead back to a non-serving year. These people make Martha Stewart’s insider trading look like child’s play.

Government and our elected officials need to be held accountable. As for the Fed, you couldn’t run your own household without knowing what your finances, or money situation, was, is and likely to be, so how could anyone expect to run a country with those in charge left without even the most basic financial information except for what Bernanke tells them, and he has a history of saying (paraphrased), “I ain’t sayin’ nuttin.” Just remember that anyone who is against auditing the Fed (remember their names) is against the United States, i.e., an enemy of the Republic.

As for the Kennedy trust, I thought trusts were a tax avoidance vehicle not a tax grubbing scheme, but then what do I know. One day when I was shopping for used Beemers I met with a trust lawyer who was selling one and started discussing trusts. After a few minutes he was like WTF, where did you get this stuff? Why, from Andrew Westhem’s “Winning the Wealth Game, How to Keep Your Money in Your Family”, One of the best books ever written on trusts and tax avoidance, and available at the Greenwich Library where I got it and found it so good that I had to buy a copy. I see there’s a used copy on Amazon for $500+, but there are also a few soft covers for only a few bucks.
