Change, yes, but hope?

106,000,000 americans now on welfare. Not social security, welfare.

36% of all immigrant-headed households are included in that number. Milton Friedman once said that a country could have open borders or a welfare state, but not both. Obama says, “yes we can! We can have it all.”

CF, sometimes I think you really don’t get it. That you have been paying your mortgage, paying for your children’s’ college education, passing on food stamps, failing to file for SS disability income, actually reporting your income and paying your taxes and voting only once on election day.

Get with the program you fool! It’s clear; these are all optional responsibilities now.

And Rafalka gets about a third of her oats through the SNAP plan, I hear. But since Mitt won’t release his taxes, that’s only an estimate.

    Buying votes?

If you’re one of the 100m or 1/3rd of the US population you will not vote for someone who says they’re going to cut your welfare. Now what? Both candidates have to pander to the welfare recipients. FUCK THAT. 16T debt? No problem guys! Let’s monetize the debt. Brilliant, how did that work for Japan?

Just brilliant John. You are a genius.

    Thank you Paul.

    • There’s sometimes a delay because the moderator leaves the computer sometimes to actually work or even you know, have a life. I’ll speak to him about it.

Loved that dramatic graph. Up from 96 million during the Bush Admin to 108 million today. The graph makes it look like welfare doubled in the same period

FF, glad you are here buddy. Do me a favor and tell CF to loosen up and get with the new normal I’ve outlined, okay? Thanks pal.

FF – Good point. Most graphs that don’t start at zero are intentionally misleading.
