Pelosi: you’ll have to pass it to see what’s in it

And then you’ll hate it. Unions, once enthusiastic backers of ObummerKare, no longer like what they see. Look to shed members with least seniority, dump them into general pool.

Union leaders say many of the law’s requirements will drive up the costs for their health-care plans and make unionized workers less competitive. Among other things, the law eliminates the caps on medical benefits and prescription drugs used as cost-containment measures in many health-care plans. It also allows children to stay on their parents’ plans until they turn 26.

Of course, Obamakare was never intended to work; it serves only to drive the wedge into the existing health care system  and when it proves a fiasco, as designed, advocates for a government-run system will drive that wedge home. All is proceeding as planned.

Here’s another fleecing. Dems and RE industry join to dump bad loans on the taxpayers to help stem declining RE prices:

Menendez, Boxer plan bill to transfer bank losses to US taxpayer:
This will open the floodgates for refinancing every private loan polluting a bank balance sheet or asset-backed security pool. Here’s how the scam works:

Delinquent borrower’s loan is currently held on the banks’ balance sheet. Bank contacts the loanowner and offers them the ability to refinance with a government-backed loan under generous terms if they will only agree to make a few payments. Once the borrower agrees and makes three payments, the loan becomes a “permanent” modification, and the liability for future losses transfers from the bank to the US taxpayer. This is an outrageous attempt to make taxpayers pay for the losses on the stupid bubble-era loans polluting bank balance sheets.

And why did the banks make such crummy loans? Check what Obama and the justice dept was REQUIRING them to do to avoid prosecution for racism.

Menendez huh? Isn’t that the Demoncrat Senator from Joisey who was banging underage prostitutes in the DomRep?

    • And the very one who, when an illegal alien/convicted sex offender was discovered on his staff (not that kind of staff, his payroll!) last fall, was protected by the director of Homeland Security who ordered the FBI (!) to keep the incident quiet for three months “until after the election”. Just like the underage hooker scandal, the story was widely reported on the Internet, with proof, and completely ignored by the main stream media – guess they got the same order as the FBI.

Guess who’s gonna end up paying for the Union’s healthcare – the 53% of us who pay for everything else this socialist gov’t gives away…see below from today’s WSJ…

To offset that, the nation’s largest labor groups want their lower-paid members to be able to get federal insurance subsidies while remaining on their plans. In the law, these subsidies were designed only for low-income workers without employer coverage as a way to help them buy private insurance.

In early talks, the Obama administration dismissed the idea of applying the subsidies to people in union-sponsored plans, according to officials from the trade group, the National Coordinating Committee for Multiemployer Plans, that represents these insurance plans. Contacted for this article, Obama administration officials said the issue is subject to regulations still being written.

And of course our existing health care system prior to Obamakare was such a beacon of efficiency and equity. Why did the Kenyan muslim usurper have to go and muck up such a splendid system as we once had? It was working so well!!.

God forbid, we actually learn something from the more efficient and equitable (horrors:govt-run) European health care systems. Is there anyone in their right mind over there that would trade their systems, warts and all, for our calamitous mess? Cue CF and the horrors of the NHS.

DB – do you mean those european health care systems that are helping their countries go bankrupt? Before Obamakare our system was so “bad” that most of the cars in the Mass General’s parking lot said “Je me souviens”.
Why come here when their system is so much better?

As usual, DB has no idea what he is talking about…spouting out generalities and myths he picks up from MSNBC. I work in the healthcare industry and can tell you first hand that our system is the best in the world….why…because it is based on a free market system.
