The Mickster alerts me to the news that 63 Winthrop, new construction in Riverside asking $4.395 million and which reported an accepted offer last week, has returned to the market. Buyer’s remorse? Don’t know.

Is that the one that had the fire during construction?
If it was, it was minor – the arsonist was warming up to burn the backhoe up the street on Lockwood.
My money says that it is a prior underground oil tank issue (large scale dig up in the past but still no proper town NOC).
I live nearby and dogwalk by it daily. I’d guess buyera remorse, as i think its very over priced for several reasons. i had considered buying the former house that sat there but really disliked the lot – its on the inside of the loop, there is no privacy to speak of, the backyard is overlooked by 5+ homes and there is a stream running through the lot, which im assuming is why the new house sits so close to the road. It did have several fires (heard it was disgruntled sub contractors). Plus its really squeezed into the lot looking like it might pour over into the next one….kinda like a fat girl wearing too small jeans…. Mid 3′s prib more appropriate. Yes its new construction but very boring aesthetic and certainly not nearly as nice as the other new construction on winthrop. Much nicer house for less few addresses down…#45 i think?
RS bubble is getting tired, it seems?
