They do this sort of thing every time. It sticks in the mind of some, nobody ever pays attention to the retraction if there is one, and the leftists spread their agenda farther each time.
I’m getting so old that this is all quite predictable.

Wizard – I am old enough to remember the JFK assassination. Walter Cronkite and the others were all looking for a John Bircher. When Oswald turned out to be a Russia-visitor who had been active in a Fair Play for Cuba Committee, it was immediately determined that he was a loner without political motive. Kind of like the workplace violence at Fort Hood where the suspect shouted Allah Akbar for no discernible reason.

Nothing new under the sun I suppose.

Uncle Walt did a lot of damage to this country in my humble opinion.

Luke Russert of NBC has also tweeted his speculation:

“I was at Fenway Park w my dad and @mikebarnicle during Waco which was on Patriots Day in 1993. Speculating on possible link.”

    • Waco was a mass murder originated and directed by U.S. Attorney Janet Reno – do you suppose Russo thinks Reno’s pulled a reprise? Wouldn’t surprise me if she has.

According to our Departments of Defense and Homeland Security, there are no Islamic terrorists, so we HAVE to look somewhere else.

  4. About as useful as what Chris Matthews said:

Chris Matthews: ‘Normally’ Domestic Terrorists ‘Tend to Be on the Right’ | NewsBusters http://ow.ly/k5Ngw

    or nate Silver

What matters: 1) who did it; 2) how they did it; 3) why they did it. What doesn’t matter: what we call it.

And the least useful reporter, Chuck Todd, said this:
Most important thing POTUS did not say: he did not use the word “terrorism.” Admin being very careful

How long before they blame it on the sequester? 10..9..8..7…….

    • Inagua

Strange sense of normal Chris Matthews has: Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, Ted Gold, Kathy Boudin, Cathy Wilkerson, Diana Oughton, David Gilbert and Ted Kaczynski were all Lefties.

Only Tim McVeigh was arguably “on the Right.”

Jeff Greenfield – now at Yahoo news (Yahoo news has a pretty good live blog going) also pointed out its tax day.

A false flag operation is more likely than Blitzer’s contention.

Perhaps a “pro-tax,” “government control of everything,” Joyce Foundation alum, and cat’s paw of Bill Ayers?

And the ever helpful Dianne Feinstein took time off from her assault rifle obsession to weigh in with this profundity, “I think it was an attack, we don’t know whether it was homegrown…or a foreign perpetrator,”

    Dude –
What happened today is a tragedy. And my heart goes out to all of those in Boston. It really does. But the Red Sox still suck. Admittedly, less so today.

So can we learn anything from this? YES WE CAN!! The priorities of our elected officials are so far off base that it is beyond comprehension.

The world is becoming a more dangerous place. The primary responsibility of ANY government is to protect its populace, but what do they do?

Make the number ONE priority to disarm the citizenry, even though they can’t protect us. Because it is really not about our safety, it is about their ability to control us.

Don’t call it a terrorist attack, because that would be politically incorrect, just like Benghazi, and call it something else.

Don’t profile anyone, in an effort to improve our defenses, because that is RACIST!!

Allow millions of Illegal Immigrants – and you can’t call them that because it hurts someone’s feelings – to become US citizens.

This is all a giant FUBAR, and we are all going along with it.

This business will get out of control. It will get out of control and we’ll be lucky to live through it. HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER DUDE!!

    Your Pal,
    Walt

There was a terrorist drill going on at the site at the time with bomb sniffing dogs and police telling people not to worry about a bomb because it was only a drill.

Eyewitness: Authorities Announced “Drill” Before Boston Explosions

An eyewitness to the two explosions at the Boston Marathon today said that a “drill” was repeatedly announced before the bombs exploded and that he “thought it was odd” bomb sniffing dogs were in place before the blast.

University of Mobile’s Cross Country Coach Ali Stevenson told Local 15 News, “They kept making announcements on the loud speaker that it was just a drill and there was nothing to worry about. “It seemed like there was some sort of threat, but they kept telling us it was just a drill.”

The news station also reports that Stevenson “thought it was odd there were bomb sniffing dogs at the start and finish lines.” …

So the bomb sniffing dogs didn’t pick up the bombs? Why bother paying for them then if they are completely ineffective?

  12. Walt is spot on! Best I’ve read yet!

  13. It’s not like we ever had left wing “terrorists” or anything….Bill Ayers anyone? Weather Undergound or Black Panthers? No, it’s an angry white (racist) guy who doesn’t want to pay his “fair share”.

I gotta tell you, for once I agree with your opinion of the news media. I wanted to put my fist through the television this morning when Matt Lauer, looking grim on Boyleston Street (5 blocks away from the site) starts in this diatribe about how, today we are “more afraid” and “we are more on edge now that our cities have been attacked” and “its like Baghdad”. Well, fuck him and his ilk who seem only interested in making people scared and dependent and thus eager to watch more news. I feel sorrow and sadness for those who have died, and those who lost limbs and such, but I wasn’t afraid when I heard of doctors on site diving into action without so much of a thought. Or the Boston Police taking charge and control and generally show the professionalism that is their hallmark. Or people injured being less concerned with themselves, and more concerned with those more injured or killed. That isn’t some chickenshit “fear”, but that is America at its very, very best and an equal place in hell for those who see profit or ratings as a cause to divide and sow fear.

Who the hell watches the Today Show anymore.
FF, I would check your mancard to see if it’s expired. WTF!!
