At least for now, people don’t have to buy crappy cars

We may have been forced to pay billions of our tax dollars to keep the United Auto Workers union viable but so far, no one can force a consumer to buy a Chrysler and thus, sales are nonexistent. Look for that to change. Topolino’s coming, and you will buy one!

Look for federal agencies, TARP recipients, and anyone else seeking Obama favors to start buying Chrysler/GM products.

Indeed, will be fun to watch consumers vote in their choice of cars

Suspect many middle-income, college-educated people will continue buying US-built Hondas and Toyotas, as they’ve done for some 20 yrs

Smart consumers only let patriotism (or rather pro-union blindness) go so far: many wealthy, astute guys choose to buy US-engineered and built Gulfstream G550s for safest and most efficient air travel, but prefer a German-engineered and built Mercedes S-Class for safest and most efficient ground transport needs….
