Global Warmers gone nuts

Colorado is now paying Tesla purchasers $42,000 to buy a $109,000 sports car. Imagine, if you can, being some poor schlub of a middle-class taxpayer in that fair state, struggling to pay for your kids’ college tuition, a mortgage, health insurance for the family and even, say food, all on a salary of maybe $65,000. Now your money is taken from you at gunpoint and handed over to a fat cat who can afford a two-seater electric toy. Are you happy? I wouldn’t be.

You stay there in Greeley and work, I'm going on vacation!

Have you seen Ken Edwards’ forest green Tesla? He has solar panels at his house & plugs in the car to charge it. I think he said he pays approx $4/month for the electricity.

“Tesla Motors is scheduled to open its first Colorado showroom . . . this weekend.”

$42K tax credit only good till Dec. 31.

” . . . lawmakers in the 2009 session passed a measure that would limit the tax credit to no more than $6,000.”

  5. The Duke of Deceptiom

The Duke wants one. Oh wait, he has a 2010 Audi A4 that gets 34 highway and cost $35,000.

    Never mind.

If the Duke lived in Colorado (hell will freeze over first), he’s refuse to pay his state taxes.

Chris, What is with 11 Mountain Wood? It seems like they lowered the price to 3.3 but now I think it’s up back at 3.4. You need to post more on mid-country. You’re neglecting us in favor of Cos Cob!
