Bush: to criticize my policies is to help Al Qaeda

What a friggin’ loser, questioning the patriotism of his critics! Doesn’t he know that dissent is the highest form of patriotism? What a Nazi! – Oh – wait, it’s Obama who’s saying that. Never mind!

Wait, isn’t Brennan arguing that “if you are not with us you are against us”, the concept that was so roundly ridiculed in Progressive circles when the Bushies said or suggested as much?

Bettr, I think Jim Gergahty makes the more timely observation:

**He Knows Who His Real Enemy Is, I Guess**

Looking again at that John Brennan op-ed in USA Today, I see he refers to Abdulmutallab as a “suspect” but asserts that administration critics, ipso facto, “serve the goals of al-Qaeda.”

In other words, in the eyes of one the administration’s top men on counterterrorism, Abdulmutallab gets a presumption of innocence that you and I don’t.

I agree with FlyAngler. I also think by defending themselves by referencing Miranda warnings given under the Bush Administration, the Obama people are missing the fact that many Americans would have been happy to see the underwear bomber summarily executed. Almost no one wants to see him given a trial, which is not a feature of war, no matter what the Op-Ed author may think.

If the dude has a rag on his head, and is holdin’ that rag on with a fan belt, it’s time to kilt that summbitch!
