I have no idea what financial strategem of his was disturbed by the town moving forward on the power plant site but when Barry sues, follow the money.
Developer Barry Montgomery sues Greenwich over Cos Cob power plant approval
Filed under Uncategorized
Does he live next door at the Waterford? After that I am out of ideas….
Except for the filing date of March 30, I would have thought this to be an April Fool’s prank. The legal papers, which can be seen at Greenwich Round Up (link at upper right), are a joke, talking about a “walking trial” and being utterly deficient and defective in form and process. A two-sentence motion to quash should take care of this one.
Any bets, however, that the Town’s legal department will pretend to take it seriously so as to run the clock on the taxpayers?
Oooooh, undoubtedly we shall go through hours and Hours and HOURS of “discovery” before we even get before a Judge who might squash it.
Hummm . . . any connection between Montgomery and the Town legal apparatus?
So Barry, in the name of public safety? has filed his suit. Well, I guess after he is done saving ourselves on this site he can tackle the balance of already established cell towers (thank you IS) and successfully push us back to the 1970s. Surely Greenwich will prosper once we are 100% radio wave free.

CF, does this guy have family or friends in the line of site of this proposed park along the Cos Cob Harbor? There has to be an ulterior motive.
any chance you would use your power as moderator of this site to prevent the pretentious french-writing participant from gaining access to your blog????? please….
Dude –
Why is he suing Greenwich? Everybody know Cos Cob is really Stamford.
Your Pal,
Walt
Aaaah, Anonymous, I dunno. It sounds so much better in French.
Sounds like a multi-million dollar suit to me- why not- the town hands those settlements out like jelly beans! Barry was one of the early developers of Waterford- think he went bust.
Pierre Berge makes a great point…even if he used the word “putain”.
Off to Courchevel
Kind Regards,
Fake Walt
The “Frenchman” said,
Quote: Pardon my French, if the city says you can not build a cellular tower near a school yard, then how can the city build a damn baseball field next to two cell towers and high voltage power lines? Touche´
This, er, Frenchman, seems to be laboring under the same misconception as the litigant, Mr. Montgomery, that cell-towers and power lines somehow mysteriously cause health problems. No amount of scientific studies to the contrary will ever convince them otherwise. Next, we can move on to the exciting theory that vaccines cause autism, shall we?
You’re TOO polite, GF!
Dude –
The French Frog Pierre is really Hiram. Fake Walt is really Hiram. Hiram is really a douche.
Your Pal,
Walt
