What a waste, stupid solar and windfarms. They are costly, produce crappy power and need an equivalent investment in fossil fuel technology or nuclear if you wish to continue having a modern civilization.
Nevermind that they are are not especially decorative, kill birds by the boatload, and regularly shed blades and make annoying noise.
On the other hand, if it annoys the Kennedy’s it might be worth it.

One of my great insights into earth science came with the lesson that what moves the air also moves the water.
Water is a fantastically better medium to collect solar and wind power and move those turbine blades with some real weight and force.
