Rolling in his (oversized) grave

Wind farm off Chappaquiddick to be approved today.

An Indian tribe that uses the area for sacred rituals that require an unobstructed view of the sunrise has vowed to sue if Mr. Salazar approves the project.

What a waste, stupid solar and windfarms. They are costly, produce crappy power and need an equivalent investment in fossil fuel technology or nuclear if you wish to continue having a modern civilization.

Nevermind that they are are not especially decorative, kill birds by the boatload, and regularly shed blades and make annoying noise.

On the other hand, if it annoys the Kennedy’s it might be worth it.

A more likely suspect cause of earthquakes, perhaps, than loose women.

Looks like Kramer could have sold that porker a super-sized mansiere.

  4. Kennedy was a cute kid

As a tod, he was adored. As an adult, a slouch.

Natural gas is the answer….we have enough to keep us self-sufficient for a very long time

Anon: You’re correct about natural gas, but I’m guessing that the methane generated within Teddy’s super-sized casket could fuel Hyannisport for a very long time as well.

One of my great insights into earth science came with the lesson that what moves the air also moves the water.

Water is a fantastically better medium to collect solar and wind power and move those turbine blades with some real weight and force.

And geothermal is ridiculously better as a heat source and burning carbon. It’s free nuclear fuel burning safely where God put it – either in the Sun or at the center of the Earth. See

’73 Refugee – you know, I like your posts – but you need to wipe that dumb grin off your face. You look like Opie Griffith! Too sweet for this bunch of cut ups. Come back with something bad ass.

Island – Don’t ever hear about the East River job, how’d that turn out?

Also wondering if tidal flows diminish by depth – 8′ surface tide vs 40′ (Grnwch harbor) or 100′ in the Sound.

Once someone is dead, I find it’s a good thing to stop insulting them.
