Hey, we didn’t read the ObamaCare bill either

Did I say we could read?

Holder confesses that he hasn’t actually, you know, read the Arizona immigration bill. “But I’m against it!”

From InstaPundit:

UPDATE: “The Most Transparently Irresponsible Administration in American History.” “How could the Attorney General of the United States malign a state law as raising profound constitutional questions, imply that the lawmakers who drafted it are racists, and direct a Justice Department review of the law without having read the law?

Shouldn’t the Attorney General of the United States have at least read the law before opining about it publicly on television?

I can think of several descriptive terms to describe a US AG who behaves this way, none of them polite.

I seem to recall another high-ranking official in the guvmint — a Harvard-educated attorney (though currently not licensed to practice law and maybe the product of an affirmative action program) — opining a while ago:

“Now, I don’t know, not having been there and not seeing all the facts… But I think it’s fair to say…that the Cambridge police acted stupidly….”

In Chicago-style thug politics apparently it’s not important to have the facts or read a bill before offering an opinion.

This is amazing…the AG bases his position based on what the state-run media has published rather than actually reading the law. Similar to Obama stating we will find out what’s in the health care bill after it passes. This, in a nut shell, is what is wrong with this entire administration.

Not a surprise at all really. This is kneejerk liberalism at its worst. Government by sneering and character assassination.

Dollars to donuts no one posting on this site has read the actual law, either.
