Tour de France
I guess I kinda, maybe believe it but honestly, I don;t trust this “sport” at all. I mean, they’re checking blood, drugs and even the presence of tiny motors in the bicycles. I’ve decided I don’t care any more about these people than I do about World Wrestler fakes or Sumos.

Excellent reporting from Greenwich Time
I don’t know John Nickerson, but he’s got an article on lobstering in today’s paper that perfectly illustrates, in my opinion, what a good reporter should do. I was a hobby lobsterer for years and represented the commercial guys as a lawyer, so I kind of know most of the issues, and Nickerson covers them all. I’m still mystified by the lobster die-off, but this is wonderful reporting. Congratulations, Mr. Nickerson.
By the way, the commercial fishermen are right: there are so few of them left that putting them out of business will have no effect on the lobster population.
