So what did the Madoff boys do all day?

Reading up on Mark Madoff’s suicide, it seems he was “chief trader” at Madoff Securities since something like 1995. But the whole point of the Ponzi scheme was not  to do any trades or at least, none of significance. So what was Mark doing for the past fifteen years? Even if Dad let him play with a few bucks, as chief trader, he had to have known that he wasn’t making enough to take home the $67 million Bernie handed to him as “pay”.

I’d like to see more stories like this

Albanian Muslims protected Jews during WW II. A powerful tale. Albanians risked their own lives rather than betray their honor, which demanded absolute protection to “guests”.  This is very much worth reading.
