That was quick. And doomed.

Islamists (Muslim Brotherhood – you know, the one liberals said were moderates?) block protest march in Cairo. And so it ends. Poor Egypt.

“Muslim Brotherhood” my ass. Don’t get taken in. Here’s what they stand for, here’s what they do:

Female genital mutilation (FGM), also known as female genital cutting and female circumcision, is defined by the World Health Organization (WHO) as “all procedures that involve partial or total removal of the external female genitalia, or other injury to the female genital organs for non-medical reasons.”[1]

FGM is typically carried out on girls from a few days old to puberty. It may take place in a hospital, but is usually performed, without anesthesia, by a traditional circumciser using a knife, razor, or scissors. According to the WHO, it is practiced in 28 countries in western, eastern, and north-eastern Africa, in parts of the Middle East, and within some immigrant communities in Europe, North America, and Australasia.[2] The WHO estimates that 100–140 million women and girls around the world have experienced the procedure, including 92 million in Africa.[1]

I know more about this than I want to.
My daughter is an editor who lives in Cairo.
Thank God there are many people there like you who are not afraid to push for freedom of expression using the best tool ever.
Brotherhood organized the poor undecover by doing goody goody stuff financed by extreme rich guys out of country since Carter deal.
Their Chicgo style tactics will not stand up over time.
We could learn from Egyptians, high voter turnout by Brotherhood got lots of seats. They will not be able to deliver all their goofy socila promises.
Sounds a bit like the US.
Here’s hoping even here in the Demo Nutmeg State.
