Open house tour

There are several worth the gasoline to see, so I’ll be heading out soon. One I won’t bother with is a house that’s now on its third broker but still at the same price – the sellers want back what they paid in 2007 and are obviously willing to wait until 2007 comes around again. That may take some time, so I hope they enjoy living where they do.

UPDATE: Looks like it only searches one zip code at a time, so you must select each of the tow’s zip codes, one at a time, to get the whole picture. Here’s Riverside, for instance.

If there’s a six-year penalty for failing to warn of earthquakes in Italy, what’s the exposure for missing a hurricane? Apparently no rational “expert” wants to find out, so they’re out early and often with an Eastern Seaboard alert. Brace yourself, Bridget.

UPDATE: Now (as of 3:13 PM) it is, according to our national weather people, a “Frankenstorm”, due to arrive on Halloween.
