Next we’ll learn that those damn blue bins cause dyslexia

Oh sh**t

Oh sh**t

Radiation from CFL bulbs is putting your child at risk for cancer.  Experts suggest shielding the bulbs by draping them with 100% organic hemp Whole Foods reusable bags, but concede that this, in turn, may increase the likelihood of fatal falls in the dark.

CF, where have DB, JMH and FF gone? It doesn’t take three weeks to get fitted for Obama’s second inauguration, does it?

I’ll bet my last incandescent that there’s not a single CFL in the White House, nor in the Hawaii manse the Obama clan is lounging in today. CFLs are the biggest phoniest democratic boondoggle since Al Gore.

Agenda 21 Is Being Rammed Down The Throats Of Local Communities All Over America:

As for those hemp bags, at least you can now possess hemp products in the US, though I believe you still can’t grow the stuff. Remember Clinton’s Drug Czar Barry McCaffrey? He was worried that if the US allowed the import of hemp t-shirts, then kids would be pouring boiling water through the fabric to make marijuana tea. The man was deranged. You can blame Bush, but I blame Cinton: remember Brooksley Born and derivitives, remember Glass Steagall? On just those two points, if things had gone differently, it would be a very different world we’d be living in today.

But I love the blue light they give!

This simply sums up the efficacy of our government to help the the uneducated electorate save money on our electric bill. In fact it is a microcosim of all things that we have witnessed over the past several years, clueless do gooders telling us what is good for us because they have a degree in political science from an overpriced institution of 4 years away from home. Be it light bulbs, obesity, greenhouse gases (ie the carbon dioxide we exhale), alternative energy, trans fats, sugary drinks, the government is busy saving us from ourselves so that we can live longer lives and experience the bankruptcy of those programs that will sustain us in retirement. Ironically it is those that troll in the universe of facts (climate scientists excluded) who point out the sheer idiocy of all these efforts, not the feel good environmentalists (with english or history majors) whom are math and science (grossly) ignorant. “The results were that you could actually initiate cell death,” said Marcia Simon, a Professor of Dermatology. Ah yes, I think Professor Simon would be a great choice to replace Kathleen Sebelius as head of HHS, no?

Mr Fountain, I am not sure you noticed, but the person reporting on this issue was Al Sunshine from the CBS Miami bureau. I do think we need a little humor in this new year that will be a long one, so whether intented or not I did have a chuckle!

The Journal News should publish a map of all homes which are using these bulbs.

I have a significant stash of beloved incadescents in my garage. Maybe when the fiscal holocaust hits, I can live off of bootlegging my 75 & 60’s🙂

Don’t let them go too cheaply, Peg. Maybe they’ll become collectibles and gourmets of fine living will be discussing vintages and comparing the products of defunct makers.

  8. I ordered them by the case from before they went off the market. Maybe that’s my retirement fund.
