Colorado House votes to disarm its citizens but that won’t leave them defenseless

Officer Friendly – that would be Colorado College’s Safety patrol – suggests women vomit or pee to gross out rapists. Much safer for everyone because, as we all know, women are flighty, nervous things, likely to fly off the handle at the least provocation:

Democratic state Rep. Joe Salazar made commentsduring Friday’s debate arguing that students should not have access to guns to protect themselves from being raped.

“It’s why we have call boxes, it’s why we have safe zones, it’s why we have the whistles,” Salazar said, according to KDVR News. “Because you just don’t know who you’re gonna be shooting at. And you don’t know if you feel like you’re gonna be raped, or if you feel like someone’s been following you around or if you feel like you’re in trouble when you may actually not be, that you pop out that gun and you pop — pop around at somebody.”

I will no longer spend any MONIES on any item made in COLORADO or travel thru that state on vacation. As far as I’m concerned COLORADO is an extension of CALIFORNIA from this day forward. Let the BOYCOTT begin !

    • Well get ready to boycott Connecticut too, because our Hartford Yahoos are whooping through a rush of punitive laws for gun owners, including one demanding mandatory liability insurance. That will stop gun violence how, exactly? Harassment, pure and simple.

RL. I’m with you. I wondering if there won’t be massive backlash on this. We could see CO go HARD Red now. Nothing like voter reaction to legislative overreach to bring the stupid back to G-d.

    • I suspect that the voters in Denver and Boulder, two cities that have been infested with Granola Democrats since the golden days even as recently as the mid-70s, vastly outnumber the original residents. Stay on Interstate 80 for Wyoming – don’t drift south.

Let STUPIDITY SOAR ! I agree, I think the back-lash will catch up to them on this issue. Word has it that several states are making offers to gun companies right now that would like to have them in their work force and Oklahoma and Texas are two of them. Magpul will fit in just fine in either state as well. COLORADO probably needs another AIDS research clinic or a government ran shelter / petting zoo for endangered monkeys.

Napolitano, Fudrucker and Himes’ people at DHS are training to shoot regular Americans.

Law Enforcement Targets, Inc. is a 21-year designer and full service provider of training targets for the DHS, the Justice Department and thousands of law enforcement agencies throughout the country.

The company’s website offers a line of “No More Hesitation” targets ”designed to give officers the experience of dealing with deadly force shooting scenarios with subjects that are not the norm during training.” The targets are, “meant to help the transition for officers who are faced with these highly unusual targets for the first time.”

The targets include “pregnant woman threat,” “older man with shotgun,” “older man in home with shotgun,” “older woman with gun,” “young school aged girl,” “young mother on playground,” and “little boy with real gun.”

This has gone viral, and the servers at Law Enforcement Targets, Inc. are barfing from the strain.

Colorado historically is a red state. Much larger population of conservatives than libs. Lately the state is more purple, still big pockets of conservatives but as with the national discourse, the liberal voice is heard more on the airwaves, giving the impression that it is the definitive voice. Boulder has its fair share of libs (college town) but its important to note that right outside Boulder are tree-lined bedroom communities full of moms and dads who are card carrying conservatives. Ski towns tend to be conservative too, $$ pockets.
There are few states anymore that haven’t got one order aspects of craziness. Look as close as your neighbor: New York. Cuomo has done a great job of getting people and businesses to flee. And they aren’t going to CT, that’s for sure.
RL, there are probably 49 states to boycott. Texas the lone star that shines bright.

A quick question for Representative Salazar – Your wife/daughter/mother/sister is facing what are clearly two men intent on doing more than steal her purse – when she reaches into her handbag to pull out something, do you want it to be a whistle, a can of Mace or a Sig P239 equipped with a Crimson Trace Laser Grip and loaded with nine 9mm Speer Gold Dot 124grain hollow point bullets?

  7. RL

Thank you Sir, and O-K-L-A-H-O-M-A ! as far as the Sig she should have it on her side and a weapon that is in a purse may have to be fired from inside that purse without the element of surprise being lost by the female. In that case you DO NOT want a jam situation. A S&W mdl 638 Bodyguard will work nicely and with Winchester 38+P PDX1 ammo give someone a very bad day. And yes, if you are a big fan of laser grips they make them for the Bodyguard also. Just make sure she practices regularly using the standard sights incase that “technology” fails in her hour of need, or Mr. Energizer Bunny is on vacation.

  8. Every Judge I’ve ever had the chance to get to know has a carry permit- if a Judge can’t get an order of protection, who can?
