Lower the freak flag to half-staff.

further240Albert Hoffman dead at 102.

Albert Hofmann, the pioneering Swiss chemist and advocate of psychedelics who discovered the hallucinogenic properties of LSD, died Tuesday. He was 102.

No relation to Abbie, but kindred spirits, surely.

    Dude –
Albert Hofmann was a genius. He was wrongfully cut out of the movie business early on, which his fellow Jews controlled, and he was looking for another way in. So he invented the movie theater of the mind!! Brilliant I say!!

He totally cut the infrastructure and distribution costs of theater going, but his viewing selection was mostly limited to horror movies and bad scripts. Because most of his hippie users were illiterate and had no sense of cinematography, dialogue or three camera shoots. So they had bad trips. So sad.

Anyhows, many people think Lenin, the genius behind the Beatles, used LSD to stimulate his creativity. They think one of his most famous songs, She Loves You, was LSD inspired. NOT TRUE!! He was a Jap lover – JUST LIKE YOU DUDE – but fell for a really fugly one, and needed LSD to cope. Who could blame him? Have you ever had a good look at his wife, Yogurt? FRIGHTENING.

How old were you when you first tripped Dude? Do you still have flashbacks? Do you wake up at night in a cold sweat, from the horror of a mob of Tourette’s inflicted dwarfs chasing you while you run nude down Greenwich Avenue? And then catching you? And you suddenly realize this was your good trip? And you liked it?

    I bet you do!!
    Your Pal,
    Walt

  3. I did all of those three things. An invaluable experience. Couldn’t, wouldn’t do it now.
