McCloy’s house (313) has an accepted offer. Off to Palm Beach now that their friends the Noels have sold their house there?

Not sure about the housing near the tracks…
Played innis the other day for the first time In a while, and damn!! Those trains are rip roaring, ear drum squashing loud.
If you are gonna be on the south side of the tracks, you better be at least half way down sound beach or better yet, on high ground off Indian head.

    I prefer NOPO riverside.
FEMA doesn’t even know we exist, and there are no pending bridge gear downs or rebuilds destined to ruin our next 3 years.

Congrats on your NOPO purchase. However, the market would suggest that most parents prefer tracks/FEMA/traffic and Riverside/Old Greenwich elementary teachers for their kids.

      • FRF

        The kids will be fine!
        Dundee or NMS
        Both feed into EMS

        • Mickster

Of course they will. They do go onto a different track at EMS, but that’s fine, too. Just kidding.
Enjoy your new home – just try not to look down your nose at your betters…LOL

I think you are right. People are having some hesitation about buying near the water/ in low lying areas. It will help NoPo, because a lot of people want the high rated eastern Greenwich schools, but now for the first time have been told by the internet – and learned – that you may have big troubles with a house anywhere near the Sound.

There will be more building, more expensive homes, NoPo in the future.
