IRS specifically focused on Tea Party because of its anti-Obama rhetoric.

WASHINGTON — Newly uncovered IRS documents show the agency flagged political groups based on the content of their literature, raising concerns specifically about “anti-Obama rhetoric,” inflammatory language and “emotional” statements made by non-profits seeking tax-exempt status.

The internal 2011 documents, obtained by USA TODAY, list 162 groups by name, with comments by Internal Revenue Service lawyers in Washington raising issues about their political, lobbying and advocacy activities. In 21 cases, those activities were characterized as “propaganda.”

Reached for comment, Greenwich Democrat spokesman Dollar Bill explained his party’s position to FWIW: “Bushchaneykochbrothers!Bushchaneykochbrothers!Teabaggersteabaggerteabaggers!” Our interview was ended by the appearance of Democrat BOE member Ramadamadingdong Tamm and party chairman, Kaptain Keno, who hugged DB in a loving embrace and gently led him away. “This guy’s a fucking lunatic”, Tamm said.

Residence Unverified = Can’t attend school until verified. That would solve the problem tuit de suite

      1. Let’s see if they actually throw the kids out, I’ll believe it when I see it.

      2. It wouldn’t surprise me one bit if the administration itself forged the remaining 15%.

      3. When I went in to verify the guy doing the verifying told some woman that her lease wasn’t signed and that he couldn’t accept it but then somehow accepted it….go figure. Of course I could have this story wrong, I just don’t know…..

    Hope you made it !

90 students from Hamilton Ave not verified = 28% of school population. Exactly as I predicted months ago. When the final numbers comes in our problems will be solved.

Oct 1 dead line and then they get a grace period. The summer wasn’t enough time? Fraud will be committed.

It is ridiculous the excuses that are being allowed for missing the deadline. You tell me the parent that doesn’t understand the implications of not informing the school that they are legal residents of Greenwich.

I think kids should use the same excuse at school with their teachers when they miss a deadline. Hey, teacher, I’ve got other important stuff going on and I don’t need to obey your stink’n deadline.

    • From the comments of BOE members and McKersie at the meeting where this issue was raised, I sensed that they see their focus on educating students, regardless of their legal residency. That’s fine for them, I suppose, but not for taxpayers and not for parents facing redistricting of their own children because of state racial laws. At that June meeting McKersie and Chairman Moriarty so resisted parents’ demands that they impose a residency test that I was surprised when, a month later, they imposed one. It’d be interesting to know which BOE members forced that change of mind, if not of heart.

Agreed. It would be interesting what or who made them change their mind on this issue AND the hiring of lawyers to look into the law itself. Its time there be accountability that both BOE and Administration are doing their fiduciary job on behalf of the taxpayers that fund the schools.

Don’t forget – people can use WEEKLY leases to establish their residency. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a flurry of those at the 11th hour.

My recollection was that it was Steve Anderson who made the motion for the $25k expenditure for the extra (grades 1-5) verification in order to “take the issue off the table once and for all”.

It’s my recollection that they also need a COUPLE of months utility bills at least so a WEEKLY lease won’t cut it.

The end of America as you know it:

‘Report: LA County to pay $650 million in welfare benefits to illegal immigrant parents’

“Los Angeles County officials believe that by the end of 2013 illegal immigrant parents will have received $650 million in welfare benefits for their native-born children, according to a CBS Los Angeles report.
“When you add the $550 million for public safety and nearly $500 million for healthcare, the total cost for illegal immigrants to county taxpayers exceeds $1.6 billion dollars a year,” CBS Los Angeles quoted Antonovich.

“These costs do not even include the hundreds of millions of dollars spent annually for education,” he added.”

AJ – It is the old story of concentrated benefits and diffused costs. The concentrate benefits are two-fold, votes for Democrats and cheap labor for white people. A huge percentage of white people in coastal California have Mexican help to clean, garden, babysit, etc. Most white Californians don’t care about the government cost of illegals because they enjoy having all their home chores done by Mexicans for $10 an hour.
