5 Blanchard Rd
5 Blanchard Road, in Bailiwick, was a June contract that just closed for $2.425 million on an asking price of $2.695. Not my cup of tea, but I suppose the design is appropriate for Bailiwick. A lot of house for under $2.5.

Bailiwick is definitely an anomaly in Greenwich. Quite pleasant but feels like you are somewhere else.
I believe the term you’re searching for is “Westchester”, but that’s okay: a lot of buyers there move over the border to escape Westchester’s punitive taxes but they want to keep their friends. And they buy Westchester architecture so they and their friends will feel at home.
Hey! Watch it with all the Westchester dissing or else Richard and I will come over and bop you on the head. 🙂 You’re with me on this, right Richard?
I’ll leave word at the gate not to let you in.
You are right, it looks like a typical house in Harrison
21st Century Russian architecture.
I’m thinking Jerserylicious !
Easy on our neighbors — Bronxville, Larchmont, Rye, etc.. can make Greenwich look vulgar
Agreed. Sometimes we forget that the Greenwich streetscape is not what it was even thirty years ago. We have more than our share of bad taste here.
