Accepted offer in Old Greenwich

11 Manor Road

11 Manor Road

11 Manor Road, asking $1.149 million. I’d want to do a lot of work to this 1954 house, including adding a third bedroom upstairs, bumping out the master bedroom and existing bedrooms with dormers, winterizing the porch in back, and so on, but you could probably do all that, and more, for around $200,000, and you’d be in on a nice street for not a crazy amount of money.

for around $200k? maybe if you are using leggos

We got your flyer in the mail the other day, it was way better than the ones from other agencies in town.

I’m in agreement that the place needs more than $200k in work as well. That kitchen alone needs $50k. Nothing wrong with a fixer upper though, bought one myself.
I’ll admit we chose to use a Greenwich builder and know we are paying a premium for him, but I think a Greenwich builder has a rapport with the folks in town hall and knows what exactly the Greenwich marketplace desires should I need to sell my place. I also know he has crews close by that can hop between jobs if need be.

Anything < $500K would be money well spent
