The science was always settled, we were just lied to about it for a while

2013 shatters record for fewest tornados, forest fires lowest since 1984.

Much to the chagrin of man-made global warming activists who want to tie every weather event to so called ‘global weirding’, 2013 has turned out to be one of the “least extreme” weather years in U.S. history.  See: New Study: ’2013 ranks as one of the least extreme U.S. weather years ever’– Many bad weather events at ‘historically low levels’

Whether you’re talking about tornadoes, wildfires, extreme heat or hurricanes, the good news is that weather-related disasters in the US are all way down this year compared to recent years and, in some cases, down to historically low levels.’

Extreme Heat: The number of 100 degree days may ‘turn out to be the lowest in about 100 years of records’

Hurricanes: ‘We are currently in the longest period (8 years) since the Civil War Era without a major hurricane strike in the US (i.e., category 3, 4 or 5)’ ( last major hurricane to strike the US was Hurricane Wilma in 2005)

The latest data show both tornadoes and now wildfires in dramatic decline.

Now’s the time for the religionists to shriek, “single events have nothing to do with long term trends”, and I agree, but since it is those same religionists who cite every hurricane, every tornado, every wild fire as “proof” of global warming, I can’t resist the temptation to slap them in the face with contrary data.

Policy can’t change weather.

  1. You are so screwed up, Chris. Just learn the mantra, please, and be done with it. “When things are hot, ‘global warming is an immediate, existential threat to manki… er, humankind.’ When things are unusually cold, ‘you are confusing weather with climate.’ Global Warming is still a terrible threat and will recommence any moment now.” That’s all you need to know.

    They can’t hear you:

‘Reddit Joins LA Times in Banning Skeptics from Climate “Debate”’

“Reddit, the giant aggregator of social, political, and entertainment news, which boasts that it is “the front page of the Internet,” is taking flak for announcing that it now bans all climate “deniers” from its science forum.

In a December 16 posting on the left-liberal Grist website (a George Soros-funded website), Reddit science “moderator” (now self-professed censor) Nathan Allen announced that the Reddit science forum would no longer allow postings from those who challenge the increasingly discredited notion that manmade carbon-dioxide is causing a global warming existential threat to the planet.

Allen’s essay, entitled “Reddit’s science forum banned climate deniers. Why don’t all newspapers do the same?”, obviously hopes to spark a wave of official, explicit bans at other media outlets. Of course, most of the so-called mainstream media already employ de facto censorship of the realist/skeptic position in their “climate change” coverage, and have for many years. While they heap lavish, adoring coverage on fanatical climate “scientists” such as James Hansen and Michael Mann, and non-scientist activist celebrities such as Al Gore, George Clooney, Leonardo DiCaprio, Bono, and Madonna, the mainstream media (MSM) can be counted on to ignore or vilify the thousands of genuine scientists who contradict the carefully crafted false claim of a “scientific consensus” in favor of anthropogenic global warming (AGW). However, much of the MSM have gone beyond censoring the contrarian scientists out of their “news” stories and op-ed pages, going so far as to ban all letters-to-the-editor section that challenge the AGW dogma. The Los Angeles Times is one of the few major MSM organs that has publicly admitted it has a policy of refusing to print letters from climate “deniers.” The folks at Reddit, apparently, would be happy if all media outlets followed suit. …”

    Dude –
Did you ever see Forrest Gump? Which I think is based on your life, BTW. You should sue for royalties. And I really did want to pop Robin Wright doggie style when I watched that flick. Even though she married Sean Penn in real life. She gave me boner supreme. I know. I am a weak little man. I hate myself too sometimes.

Anyhows, life really is like a feather floating through the wind. We really have no control over our own destiny. We are at the whim of nature. Which really isn’t so bad, when you actually think about it. We are all way too stupid to determine our own destiny. Do you agree? Dick head.

So global warming may be a thing. Or it may not be. But it isn’t worth worrying about. You frigging loser. Think about where your next baldy is coming from. That is what matters. And that is what should scare you. You dry hole.

    Your Pal,

  4. Chris is a terrible threat…to Global Dumbing !!!

Been net surfing near on 20 years now.

    Never heard of it.

  6. All it ever was is a means to the end of justifying a massive tax scheme by governments totally out of control in their spending regimes. Today the tax portion of the price of an airline ticket to most European destinations is higher than the actual airfare portion. Talk about economic drag. In everything they do, stupid progressives can’t resist the temptation to overreach.

Taxes, yes, but even more important, central global control. The NWO is real — it’s a tick (parasite) that’s crawling up your pants leg looking for the best place to take hold.

      • AJ

Sorry, I should have said “crawling up the inside of your pants leg” because that’s just how creepy these people are.

        • Cobra

“crawling up the inside of your pants leg…” Isn’t that what Chris Matthews feels when he fantasizes about Obozo?
