“Could be serious”.  Surely, if the President had had even an inkling of this danger, he wouldn’t have spent yesterday on the golf course. Life’s just one damn surprise after another for the community organizer.

    Susan Dimwit Rice is the one yesterday who proclaimed “this could be serious”. No shit.
    My theory: In time, comrade Putin will convince the majority of the Ukrainian population that they want to be back under the arms of Mother Russia. He won’t even have to use military force. Many are already waving Russian flags in hopes that happens.

    Nothing Obama, or even Merkel, can do about it. USA knows that serious financial sanctions will hurt USA as much as Russia. Who is going to buy those $95 million apartments in the city?

    Has Obama ever posted or made public a golf score? Bet he never breaks 100. Hacker.

    I would be less worried about what Russia does in its own back yard than with Illegals (who don’t have to prove citizenship to vote) holding a referendum for the Southwest to Secede from the Union and become part of Mexico.

    What really happened, unbeknownst to the clueless American people was to split the Ukraine, Crimea to Russia, and The Northern Ukraine to the grubby criminal banksters of the EU!

    Well, Putin isn’t playing that game anymore, “he has seen OBAMA’s Soul” to take a line from out last dirt bag leader, and Putin is going to take a chance that Obama is as stupid as he looks, and Puti-Pute will try to take as much as he can, and you know what, the idiot conservatives, McCain, Graham, etc will surprise Putin by forcing Obama to threaten the use of tactical nukes, and the game will be on.

        Condi was one smart woman. She “got it” back during her tenure as SoS. Plus, she was a rather stylish dresser. So yes, while the boys are out guzzling beers on the golf course, filling out March Madness or whatever brackets, fantasy football nonsense and doing other really meaningful stuff,us girls have this nailed down tight.
        At the risk of sounding all feminista, if women ran the show half of this BS wouldn’t even be happening and the other half would give serious pause.

Same as how he learned the ObamaCare website didn’t work, same as he learned of the IRS being weaponized against conservative groups and same as he learned of the You Tube video that got a U.S. Ambassador mudered on Sept 11th.

    And yet, the Russians will have “unexpectedly” taken eastern Ukraine, then Tallin, Riga, Vilnius, Almaty, Ulaan Bataar, et cetera. I hope Putin has the decency to act during Washington DC working hours – I doubt the President has a TelePrompTer in his bedroom, so how’ll he know whats to say?

    AJ, the “Russian-backed government in Kiev that came to power democratically” was a typical sham election. The ousted president was Putin’s man. Putin paraded him out to Coni Rice in 2004. The fact that Ukraine is a “new nation” does not mean Russia has a right to control it. And when Ukraine was “part of Russia” as you say it was the Russian boot on the Ukraine neck. Thanks for the cheap food Ukraine now go work harder for the Moscovites. Ukrainians have been a distinct people despite all the empires they have been subject to and if you want to turn the clock back to when “Ukraine was part of Russia” then I guess China has the right to take back Eastern Russia.
