Our watchdog press steps up the pressure on Obama

Bowing to authority

Bowing to authority-any authority

Daring to speak truth to power, the media grills Obama at his news conference in Japan.

Press pool report: Pool was ushered to a hold area at the end of a hallway in the hotel, where Obama, after a false start, walked down the hall. Asked by Julie Pace of the AP if he slept well, he said, “I’m still on 4 am time.” Another reporter asked Obama if he like the ice cream dessert in the shape of Mt. Fuji served at the state dinner. Obama nodded, saying, “They have the green tea at the bottom that I’ve spoken of having when I was six, and I was very pleased,” Obama said. “It was delicious.”

The apparently jet-lagged president made sure to share the press’s lightweight treatment while speaking with Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko later:

“The press was asking if I enjoyed the green tea ice cream,” Obama said. “Did you enjoy it?” the empress asked. “Yes, absolutely,” he replied.

From here, it’s off to SouthKorea, where we can expect to learn whether the Leader of the Free World enjoyed the national dish, kimchi with puppy paws.

I think my man Obama has settled into the “Jimmy Carter” phase of his tenure in office. He’s not competent and everyone now knows that, so all that’s left to do is ride this thing out.
I think it’s important to remember that during his early years his side had both houses of congress and could have jammed through any legislation they chose. As the cries of republican obstructionism ramp up from here on out, that’s something worth remembering.

Ah – the Fourth Estate. I remember you well…..Au revoir.

So the alleged “pit-bulls” in the MSM rolled over on their collective back and Obama scratched their fat lazy belly.

Media malpractice for the past 5 years driven primarily by reverse racism

Yes, you nailed it, Anon. At least in part. Leftist religion overall is also responsible for this lack of true journalism, for the most part. Many of them have no clue they have even abdicated their responibilities, they are so brainwashed.

What the watchdog press watches is for members of the press that might report real news: something that can’t be allowed.

“Sharyl Attkisson, CBS’s top investigative reporter: gone, resigned, floating free, unchained, now viewed by the news establishment as an outsider, a defector, a weirdo with an axe to grind.

Among the controversial stories she covered at CBS: Benghazi. Just as she was digging below the surface of the Obama coverup, she was cut off and shut down by her network bosses.

Here’s the crux. The Rhodes brothers.

    Ben Rhodes, David Rhodes.

Ben is a deputy national security advisor to Obama and writes speeches for him. In September 2012, Ben was “instrumental,” according to ABC News, in changing the White House talking points (the story) on what happened in Benghazi.

Ben’s brother, David, is president of CBS News. Attkisson was working for David. She was investigating all the changes (12) in the Benghazi talking points. She was shut down.

Nothing to see there, move along, eyes straight ahead, go back to sleep, zombie-zombie, it’s all good don’t worry, be happy, hope and change, the audacity of whatever.

Now, on top of this, Attkisson’s computers, at work and at home, were hacked while she was still at CBS. The network acknowledged this and said “they were investigating.” They’re still investigating. So are other unnamed entities.

Who hacked her computers? CBS? The White House? NSA?

Attkisson covered other stories at CBS that were highly problematic for the White House. Fast&Furious, for example. And in the summer of 2009, Attkisson struck gold on Swine Flu. You know, the pandemic that wasn’t. She discovered that the CDC, which is tasked with tracking numbers of cases of outbreaks, had, get this, stopped counting Swine Flu cases in America. Stopped.

But the CDC was still trumpeting the extreme danger of Swine Flu, with no way to measure its true impact.

Dr. Peter Doshi, long after the whole Swine Flu dud was over, wrote a stunning report for the British Medical Journal Online. Seems that every year, hundreds of thousands of samples from suspected and diagnosed flu patients are sent to labs for analysis—and only about 16% of these samples turn out to be positive for the flu.

That’s a killer of a revelation. Among other things, it means …”

That’s probably what also happened to Paula Zahn. She used to ask tough questions when she was a reporter on CNN — instead of the usual ask the same question twenty times, each time in a different tone of voice technique, e.g., Connie Chung interviewing Representative Gary Condit — and wouldn’t let anyone off the hook. Next thing you know CNN has got her doing fluff pieces, next thing you know she’s gone.

Gary Condit and Chandra Levy, remember that one? The DC Police covered every square inch of the Park, every square inch of the park except the swamp in the middle of the park, the most likely place to hide a body — guess they didn’t want to get their shoes muddy; guess they didn’t have any cadaver dogs.

Then a year later after all the forensic evidence is destroyed, some jogger spots a body in the swamp. So based on that, the lack of evidence, they hang it on the local sex predator. You have to wonder what did Chandra Levy know? And what about Gary Condit, what did he know? Was this a case of two birds with one stone? Kind of reminds me of Vince Foster.

I live in the DC metro area ( No. Va. ) and believe me, nobody knows anything hereabouts. About anything.

Actually, the media has been an arm of Dem party for decades. Dem scandals are always swept away while GOP scandals become Constitutional crises.

Nixon was justifiably mystified why Kennedy, Johnson and FDR got away with things well beyond what he did. prez O has gotten away w/ much worse than Nixon..

But big media serves as the Praetorian Guard for Dems. Remember Hillay’s “listening tour”? The media guarded her from questions, actually shouting down the NYPost reporter. Now the geriatric is running for prez, but no age questions for her.

All of the above is true, but very sad. I am really depressed at the state of this union.

Just tune into anything Diane Sawyer pants and gasps about on ABC if you want to have your intelligence insulted while you nod off. I won’t watch ABC anymore as it’s becoming Foxlite. There, I just said something that will make YOU an ardent fan now.
