Irish novelist knocked out, teeth smashed in Elm City.

Acclaimed Irish author Colum McCann was badly injured after being attacked while trying to break up a domestic dispute just outside the gates of Yale.

 McCann told the Times he was in New Haven to attend a conference on empathy at Yale University

    Betcha the assailant was of African American persuasion. The area is very close to one of the many New Haven pockets of problematic neighborhoods.

    Meanwhile Anthony Cumia just got fired for words (attacking an animal) and showing restraint with his CCW. I mean he had proof he was being attacked, he could have used his piece legally. Oh wait, it was NYC, forget it.
