A silk purse?

18 Hidden Brook

18 Hidden Brook

18 Hidden Brook Road in Riverside is new to the market today, asking $2.395 million. That’s a pretty good price for Hidden Brook, but I can’t tell from its pictures how much its been transformed from its 1965 developer-tract origins. Interior’s by Jim Hoffman, so that’s promising. Look forward to seeing it at its open house.

This could be a good comp for me, so I hope it sells in a bidding war.

Surprised somebody put so much money into that shell. It does look nice inside though.

I think this sells in the $1.75 to $1.95 range.

i think you are insane … that lot alone on Hidden Brook is worth $1.75 … it goes for $2.2 minimum

      • House (and land) sold for $1.230 in 2010.

Curious: Challenge…..$2.2m yours. You’re either the owner or neighbor talking your book…it’s not unreasonable for a house to trade sub $2mm in riverside….especially one lacking in obvious areas. Good Luck, hope your right but seems Anon above is closer to the target.

I’ve heard of attorneys writing blogs but attorneys doing interiors? That’s a first for moi. Lipstick reference might not be too far off the mark…we will see.

I didn’t realize Sound Beach would do renovations. Aren’t they too busy building new mansions? Also, looks like only a section of the house has been renovated. That purple bathroom is definitely not Sound Beach material.

Bathrooms look to have been neglected….certainly need to be addressed.
