George Jepson

Ct Attorney General George Jetson first hears there’s a spending cap

CT Attorney General rules that our state constitutional spending cap is null and void.

I don’t think our Hartford goons have ever abided by the law limiting spending, they’ve simply avoided it through various subterfuges, such as  shuffling items off budget – just as our national government hides things. Nevertheless, the decision, released just as the legislature convenes in special session to try to fix the budget deficit of $300 million (the deficit for next year is already estimated at $1.2 billion, and climbing, so watch out, Fairfield County) is …convenient.

As much as I don’t like Jepsen for his politics, on this and a few other points he’s been right. So let the idiots in the legislature ramp up their inane spending, all it can do is damage them further. Jobs and the rich are fleeing this state daily (funny how THAT works huh?). I’ve got a very wealthy good friend now seriously considering a move to NH. It’s not something he’d ever have considered before the legislature pushed through their new revenue package this past summer. Malloy, Looney and Sharkey and their brain-dead Democrat acolytes have nearly completed the thorough evisceration of this state’s economy. Now it’s just a matter of time before fan encounters poo. Bravo Danny, Martin and Brendan!
