A contract, but for the rental or the sale?

The new agent hasn’t been able to figure out how to post a picture of the place since she got the listing four weeks ago, but here’s an old one.

Can’t tell, because 27 Cobb Island Drive, Cos Cob, is listed as both, but it has a contract. Sold for $3.1 million in 2000, tried $$4.199 back in 2013 and, three years later, dropped all the way back down to $3.1. Probably still too much, but heck.

    What?! I can’t hear you because the tide is rising and the highway is expanding.

    Seriously though, this could be a lovely spot overlooking the harbor on days with southerly breezes to blow the I-95 roar north – away from the home.

      I have noticed that traffic sound is often louder when you are elevated above the road. But I’m not sure if the reverse is true: if you are below the road then the noise sails by overhead.

        One thing that can’t sail by is pollution and more particularly microscopic air particles. Ultimately this location would not bode well for the health any long term occupant.
