Still going begging, but its owner isn’t

549 North Street

549 north Street

549 North Street is back as “new’, after expiring unsold since last December. Price remains at $8.750 million for this 13,000 sq.ft. edifice, but that’s better than the $12.5 it looked for back in 2005, when it was first put up for sale (a year after it was bought new from Kaali-Nagy, it seems). Eleven years on, maybe this will be its year.

But don’t cry for him, Argentina, or Greenwich. According to an Internet search, the owner’s happily ensconced down on Mead Point in an even larger home, valued at $21 million.

This blog normally doesn’t comment on residents’ personal lives. Pics or it didn’t happen! Put up or STFU

I love that Mead house…they leave all the lights on the sound facing side in the summer at night…looks like a hotel.

Cobb island is the location. Geographically its Mead Point but the entrance is Cobb Island. Very close to the tracks.

The North St home looks fine at first blush, but then you notice that “moon turret” and garage wing. Still, it is much better than his meandering hotel on the Sound.

  7. “Michael Urfirer had to pay $141,728” to Town….is this why Pemberwikians who get flooded by the Town are not taken seriously?
I’d be happy to host a SANDERS/TRUMP DEBATE at Belle Haven to have input from residents of both fabulous slivers of our Earth.
Post Debate Party at Pemberwick Park alongside Pemberwick Bay.

Linked article says he bought Mead Point in 2001. Why would he buy North Street in 2005? For an ex?
