1 butternut hollow

One Butternut Hollow Road

1 Butternut Hollow cut its price to $4.450 today, but I think it’s still going to be a tough sell. The place was built in 2005 and priced at $5.895, but couldn’t find a buyer until 2010, when it fetched $3.7. That buyer’s been renting it out, off and on, since then, and when I last showed it as a rental it was very dark and very much a ridden hard and put away wet situation.

It seems she’s spruced it up now, but the phrase “let sleeping dogs lie” comes to mind.

Remember these guys of a certain foreclosure fame in back country?

Be sure to click all the way through the slide show. Each slide is progressively worse than the last.

It looks like the owner got a discount if she bought wallpaper in bulk. A Costco special maybe? The living room and dining room have the same paper. The Master & the basement have the same pink grasscloth. The kitchen, den, master bath and gym all have the same blue grasscloth. The patterned hallway wallpaper on two stories gives me headache. Good grief what a mess.

There is a reason to leave some pictures out, like the master bed overlooking the TUB and the bathroom’s square toilet-ouch

Actually, didn’t someone say that this house is owned by a wallpaper tycoon?
