Obama administration creating another housing bust by forcing Fannie Mae and private lenders to ignore FICO scores,, eliminate downpayment requirements and stop demanding social security numbers from illegal aliens.
What could possibly go wrong?
While NBC News reports: “How Bernie Sanders supporters shut own Trump rally”.
When Ja’Mal Green, a prominent black activist and Bernie Sanders supporter in Chicago, saw that Donald Trump was coming to the University of Illinois-Chicago, he knew what he had to do.
“Everyone, get your tickets to this. We’re all going in!!!! #SHUTITDOWN,” he posted on Facebook last week.
Little did he know, they actually would shut it down.
On Friday night, hundreds of protesters invaded Trump’s rally while thousands more marched outside, leading the GOP presidential candidate to abruptly cancel the event due to safety concerns. The night spun out from there, as angry Trump fans clashed with protesters, who saw the shutdown as a victory.
Protesters interrupt virtually every Trump speech. But what made Chicago different were its scale and the organization behind the effort. Hundreds of young people, mostly minorities, poured in from across the city, taking over whole sections of the arena and bracing for trouble.
And as the repeated chants of “Ber-nie” demonstrated, it was largely organized by supporters of Sanders, the Democratic presidential candidate who has struggled to win over black voters but whose revolutionary streak has excited radicals of all racial demographics.
“Remember the #TrumpRally wasn’t just luck. It took organizers from dozens of organizations and thousands of people to pull off. Great work,” tweeted People for Bernie, a large unofficial pro-Sanders organization founded by veterans of the Occupy movement and other leftist activists.
All his rivals, Democrat and Republican, have blamed Trump for this riot and chaos. There’s a huge pool of voters out there that will see this as just further proof that we need someone like Trump to respond to what’s happened to the country under Obama.
I think Cruz and Rubio, at least, made a mistake by not focusing on the people behind the shut down, and making it clear that silencing of speech by intimidation and violence will not be tolerated.
New Lebanon building committee comes back with a $37 million project. Everybody on board with this proposal is counting on the state to provide 60% of this sum ($22,200,000) because it will be part of our “diversity plan”, but I look at our current $212 million current deficit and the $1.2 billion shortfall looming next year and wonder: there are obviously going to have to be severe spending cuts – in addition to higher taxes on Gold Coast residents, of course – and taking money “owed”to Greenwich and spending it on other, more popular goals like keeping municipal and state unions happy seems like a no-brainer.
The Intercept, which broke the story of the “Hardball” campaign connection Friday, compiled a laundry list of questionable donations. It showed some political heavyweights making contributions just before or after their appearances on the show.
The political action committee for Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) gave $10,000 to Kathleen’s campaign on June 20, 2015 — two days before Gillibrand appeared on “Hardball.”
Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) contributed $1,000 on Jan. 11, 2016, one day before she was interviewed on the program.
Chris Matthews’ guests, their spouses or their PACs donated $79,050 as of Dec. 31 — about 5 percent of the $1.5 million Kathleen had raised as of then.
Matthews, who never disclosed any of these contributions when interviewing his guests, declined comment on the expose, but his wife’s spokesman issued this statement, presumably tongue-in-cheek:
“Working women know it is possible to have their own career and not depend on their spouse for success,” said Kathleen Matthews’ campaign manager, Ethan Susseles.
The streets are deserted after dark in a sleepy Swedish town which is a now no-go zone for women after eight sex attacks in three weeks.
Women have been warned by police not to walk alone at night after the once peaceful town of Östersund was shaken to its core by a string of vicious attacks on females and even children by groups of young men of ‘foreign origin’.
First, two 10-year-old girls were groped at a bus stop by a gang of men who threatened to rape them.
The following day, a woman told police she was punched in the face, splitting her eyebrow, by a man who threatened to kill her after he made a rude comment to her.
Just five days later a woman walking on her own was attacked by three men, beaten and pushed to the ground.
They held her down and forced their fingers into her mouth while saying offensive, sexual words to her.
And in the latest incident just five days ago, a woman had to use martial arts to elbow her would-be rapist in the head and escape after three men surrounded her and punched to the ground and tried to pull her trousers down.
Police in Östersund, with a population of 45,000, say they have never seen anything like this before.
Solution: Germans distributing sex-ed manuels, replete with explicit drawings (for the illiterate of for titillation is unstated) to migrants. How to find a girl’s G spot, gay sex, best places to find hot, willing chicks (I made that one up) and “how to enjoy the first time”.
It’s comforting to know that, in an era when our own country seems awash in brainless liberal do-goodism, we are not alone.
