6 School Street
6 School Street, asking $1.295 million. It’s a very decent house, nicely renovated in 2008, buy I think I liked its 2011 sale price of $950,000 better. Then again, that was then, this is now.

what an adorable house!
Yes, very cute indeed.
Just an observation…Cos Cob seems to be grinding higher up to the $2mm mark, OG…stalling….and Riverside still Hot.
I don’t know, there are a few houses that were listed this spring at slightly reaching prices (closer to 2) that have lingered, so I’m not sure the Cob is really doing any better or worse than any other part of Greenwich. That said, the market for homes under 1.5 seems as strong as the mid 2000s.
Agreed in second point, I’ll have to run figures on the first. Seems to me that Cos Cob has more under-$1.5 houses, and since that’s where the action is, that’s where the action is.
But that’s just my impressions. Real numbers will provide the answer.
Interesting to see, as there seems to be alot of new construction going from Valley thru River Rd (before it turns into Stamford) 10 Sweat Briar and the +$3mm home with 2 more going up. Blasting can’t be cheap.
Is Sweet Briar under contract? Also, what is up with land in Hillcrest?
10 Sweet Briar –
FBI recommends no criminal charges against Hillary…..gee, what a surprise!
I can’t believe the next POTUS is going to be a career criminal.
Nixon would be jealous.
We are now officially a Banana Republic. This is a disgrace, but sadly not the least bit shocking.
But while the FBI may not be recommending charges, the investigation clearly shows, once again, that Clinton is a pathological liar. She claimed she sent or received no classified Emails at the time they were classified, but the investigation found that she did.
She may not be indicted but she still handled classified information carelessly and likely compromised national security. Under Federal law, she is no longer eligible to hold a security clearance. So how do you get to be POTUS if you shouldn’t be able to get a security clearance?
Sad, but true, Walt; every word; well said.
I am awaiting Paul Ryan’s congratulatory tweet to Hillary https://youtu.be/dQw4w9WgXcQ
Funny, but damn you, now I have that song stuck in my head all day. It’s a great song though. [True confession: it’s on my iTunes]
Walt please don’t give up on Donald yet
