That’s the rumor. If true, and I don’t know that it is, someone got a great deal. But, and again, only if this rumor is true, it illustrates the damage a seller does to himself by over- pricing his house. I loved this house and had buyers who I think would have loved it too, and been willing to invest the money necessary to bring it into the 21st Century. But not at $8.9. I wonder how many other agents over the two years this property was for sale never showed it because it was hopelessly out of their buyers’ price range?
