I’m back!

A huge thanks to Gideon and Fudrucker for holding down the fort while I was witnessing first hand CL&P’s incompetence in Litchfield County.

I haven’t got up to speed on real estate yet but, driving around town, I see that that old rocket scientist, Werner von Braun, is running for school board. True, the man doesn’t qualify for the post of Village Idiot, but are the Republicans so desperate for candidates that they have to resort to this old fraud?

Von Braun has accomplished nothing during his exile here in Greenwich and, so far as I know, never sent any child to public school (in fact, does he even have any kids? I’ve heard rumors of an unfortunate incident in the radiation lab back in the old country).A phony crest on one’s blazer’s tit may qualify a man for membership in a yacht club but does it say anything about an ability to read a budget or understand what’s gone wrong with our schools? I think not – send the fellow off to head up CL&P. but keep him out of town government.

Nominating Peter von Braun to the Board of Education? I suppose there could be another fellow with that same name but the one I know is a Belle Haven resident, courtesy of his father’s wealth, with a propensity to wear a fake family crest on his blazer’s tit. A complete phony and  someone I wouldn’t trust to educate my dog. Just one man’s opinion, of course, although if Casey the Wonder Dog were still alive, he’d sic him.
